Independence
The MobiLife Chair provides comfort, convenience, freedom, and more than anything�independence. Life in a conventional wheel chair is difficult and forces you to rely on others for help. It solves the problem of mobility, gets you from point A to point B, but it does NOT give you true independence. Our chair reduces the hassle of needing others' help constantly. Being able to elevate yourself at various levels opens a whole new world of possibilities.
It allows you to do more things by yourself�things that you cannot do while seated at regular wheel chair height. For example:
- Climbing in and out of a taller vehicle
- Using a standard sized sink, stove, or desk
- Reaching things on high shelves/cupboards
- Changing a light bulb/smoke detector
- Meeting and greeting people at eye level
Movement alone intertwines with independence. Because what good is movement when you can do nothing but stay at one level? Having adjustable elevation enhances the experience of movement because there's usually a job to be accomplished once you reach your destination. A conventional wheel chair will get you there, but it doesn't allow you to perform any sort of task, unless that particular task can be completed at the height you are already at.
